In this digital age, you've likely encountered people with "attention-seeking" behaviors? But did you ever think their "attention seeking" behaviors was a cry for help? Or love? Guidance? Affection? Validation? Whatever the reason for their behaviors, we have to seek to understand their behaviors rather than immediately attach a negative connotation to it.

In this episode, I am joined in The Oasis Space by Licensed Family & Marriage Therapist, Shardae Washington, where we discuss the deficit in creating space for people to seek attention and ask for help in various ways, misdiagnosis amongst minority populations, cultivating trust between therapists and clients, and how to identify signs when you or your "strong friend" may need professional support.
